A joint venture between Rankousi and Dakkak, RanDak was established in 1992 as the first factory in Syria to manufacture nonwoven cotton. Thanks to our certified Dacron machines that are imported exclusively from East Germany, our nonwoven cotton production line works 24/7, covering 3 consecutive shifts to cater for all our customers’ needs.

RanDak is globally known as one of the largest nonwoven manufacturers in the industrial world. We compete with top international nonwoven producers, and in order to keep up with worldwide trends and the significant increase in demand, we recently added new lines to our production panel which we launched in January 2010.

With branches and distributors all across Syria, we export our products to neighboring and non-neighboring countries such as Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Germany; and to stay up-to-date with the latest ideas, we are constantly present in international fairs, exhibitions and conferences (Dusseldorf, Germany – Rome, Italy – Brussels, Belgium, etc.).

At RanDak, we offer a wide range of nonwoven products, including: protective clothing, medical & hygiene applications, different types of fabrics, environmental protection and home textiles. We also use raw fiber, which is suitable for producing industrial nonwovens in which absorbency and aesthetics are not essential.
Today, nonwovens have become an alternative to polyurethane foam and are used to manufacture hygienic products such as baby diapers, feminine pads, wipes, bandages and wound dressings, but also to produce filter products such as vacuum bags, water, coffee and tea bags.
